Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified title holder Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the novice is still one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As the two fighters engaged in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast evident, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually happening.
